BraveUp!

Technology for schools that care

In many schools across Latin America, bullying goes unseen. Brave Up! was born to change that, using artificial intelligence and data science to detect, prevent, and transform school violence dynamics from the root.

With proprietary technology based on Graph Neural Networks, Brave Up! analyzes social interactions among students, detects risks of bullying, isolation, and cyberbullying, and provides educational teams with reports containing clear diagnoses, sociograms, and practical recommendations. It also offers an anonymous reporting channel for students, ensuring confidentiality and timely action.

But its fight doesn’t stop at data. Brave Up! provides training to teachers, students, and families, fostering safer, more inclusive, and healthier school cultures.

It has already impacted more than 135,000 students across eight countries, successfully intervening in 90% of detected active bullying cases. And it doesn’t stop there: it also collaborates in creating public policies to address school violence in the region.

Founded by Álvaro Carrasco, Felipe Zanoni, and José Antonio Massaro, Brave Up! demonstrates that technology, when born from empathy, can be a powerful tool for care, mental health, and the transformation of educational communities.
